Global Corporate Responsibility Specialist
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Responsibility, the Global Corporate Responsibility Specialist will help to implement Huhtamaki’s new corporate responsibility strategy called “Packaging for Good”. This important work will lead to enhanced business performance and will support the long-term interests of the company.

The Global Corporate Responsibility Specialist will work on three core areas:

  • External Non-Financial Reporting (GRI and related reports, Corporate Responsibility related questionnaires and requests for information)
  • Leveraging Corporate Responsibility systems (Sedex, Navex, Datamaran)
  • Project management (including supporting of the internal network of Packaging for Good ambassadors, communication, citizenship activities)


The role requires personal engagement with colleagues from around the world to deliver projects and to add value to the manufacturing sites.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and action-oriented, with great interpersonal and intercultural skills, with a few years of experience working in an industrial company.
The requirements for a suitable candidate are

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an industrial company working on corporate responsibility topics such as reporting, supply chain due diligence, human rights.
  • University level degree in corporate responsibility/sustainability or other relevant degree
  • Experience of writing and project managing GRI reports.
  • Experience and confidence in using corporate responsibility related IT systems such as Sedex.
  • Experience of leading projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent people and communication skills (also intercultural).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to create insights and draw conclusions from large data sets.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (and preferably Finnish)
  • Positive mindset and eagerness to work in a truly international environment
  • Service attitude, flexibility, willingness / interest to learn, open mind
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)


Would be an advantage:

  • Experience of human rights in business context
  • Experience of occupational health & safety
  • Experience of food safety / food contact materials
