Retail display fruit trays

The fruit trays are designed for packaging, transportation and storage of apples, pears, tomatoes, melons, stone fruit, avocadoes and other fruit. Each tray is specially designed to provide maximum cushioning for the best protection of the product. The fruit trays are available in a wide range of count sizes and various colours.

For 60 x 40 cm corrugated board boxes and returnable plastic crates, an extensive portfolio of fruit trays (S.A.: Mark 9, Oceania: Shopak and Retail Display Trays) is offered, depending on the diameter of the fruit to be packed (55 – 100 mm) and the number of fruit per one or two layers. In some sales units a range of (S.A.: MARK 9) pear trays to fit these outer boxes, is available as well.
And to fit the standard 54 x 34 cm bushel boxes, another range of apple trays (S.A. and Oceania: Mark 4) is serving this market segment with patterns to fit fruit with diameters ranging from 51 – 100 mm.
For the smaller 40 x 30 cm corrugated board boxes another range of both apple and pear trays (S.A.: Mark 6) is offered by some of Huhtamaki’s sales units.
Melons obviously require melon trays to fit this large sized fruit. Their size and pattern vary; melons of 90 mm diameter can be packed in them, but equally a melon of 135 mm has it’s own tray to suit it. They fit in the standard 60 x 40 cm or 40 x 30 cm box.
For specific demands stone fruit trays are manufactured to fit stone fruit like peaches or plums and fitting into the smaller 40 x 30 cm boxes.
